This is my other shower puff/scrubby. Some people have told me they like to wash dishes and glasses with the scrubbies. Also here is my 2 tone green cotton cro-hook wash/cloth. I sell them together or seperately also from my etsy site This puff is the size of a large orange and the dishcloth/washcloth are 8inches by 7 inches.

Here is a new scrubby I tried, rose puff. Also sell it with a dishcloth/washcloth. It is made with 2 skeins at once. One side being one color and then the other side with the other color. I will soon add them to my etsy site for sale.

Friday already!

My goodness this week has flown by. I have been busy all week working on my inventory for my etsy site. Now I just have to take the pictures that I want to display in my shop. I did take some but not to my liking. I had a very exciting email from another etsy member inquiring about my fleece rugs. It is so nice to be recognized!
It is another rain on off kind of day. Feels like fall, only 68degrees for a high.

Big Sister, Little Sister

Here are the big and little sister's. They just love each other. Both love water parks!

Fun Fun Day!

Our daughter, granddaughter, and me. This was taken last month at Canal Park on lake Superior, Duluth Mn.

sunshine in minnesota

Wow, can't believe it we are going to have some sunshine today, seems like it rains every day this summer. More like fall, and that shall soon be upon us! We had a wonderful day yesterday. Spent it with our granndaughter and daughter. I went to get my hair cut the other day and the topic in the salon was diabetes. Goodness, amazing how many people of all ages are afflicted by this disease. Our daughter was diagnosed with diabetes at age 11. That was in the 80's. What a tough time, she rebelled from the very first moment she knew she had it. It came on very suddenly, just like a bad case of the flu. She drank water none stop, lost 11 lbs. very suddenly. I just knew it must be diabetes, my grandma had it and I remembered all the symtoms. Sure enough, she was diagnosed insulin dependant. She now has had it for 21 years. Still a struggle sometimes, always adjusting and being aware of every day life obstacles, but she does quite well. She is leagally blind, but again, does amazingly well. I have been blessed with 2 beautiful granddaughter's from our Petunia, my nickname for her. Anyway, I always encourage newbies or someone who has this disease, to not get depressed, research and support your love one or believe in yourself too if you are the one with it. It is not an easy road, but it is what you choose to make of it too, many times.

Me and one of my little Petunia's

Here I am with one of our granddaughter's. She is such a joy!

Monday so soon?

Goodness, it is Monday already! The weekends go so fast! I need to post more often, I know, and am trying to make it a goal for at least every other day.
It is a gloomy day so it is hard to get started. I started with the forums on Etsy, that is always interesting, make new friends and learn allot about selling and how Etsy works. Our summer here in northern Mn. is almost over and most of it so far has seemed like Fall. I am still waiting to thaw out from last winter! I need to go south for the winters!

Boogies rug

Here is the rug I made for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loves the soft fleece on her feet. She is learning her colors so this was a good choice.

Keep on trucking

Today here in northern Mn. is a rainy cold day, feels like fall. Summer needs to come back and stay for winter will be here before we know it.
I went to see my Dr. on Monday. All seems ok, except for the arthritis now has gone into my foot. I have a cyst on the outside of my foot which makes wearing shoes uncomfortable. What next, now I have to hunt for shoes I can wear when the weather gets colder. So far Teva sandals are the answer because of the open sides. My foot is turning inwards. My Dr. feels strongly about no surgery or injections, they would not help. So I just learn to live with this too and maybe the cyst will go away as other's have in the past. Just never have had one on my foot.
Today I will continue with sewing, making childrens aprons and and back to school smocks. Will eventually add those to my shop too.
I wish we were trucking, seems like just one of those days where I could ride, ride and ride. Over the road trucking is such an adventure that my husband enjoyed for a year It was one big vacation for us.
